Day Camp

The best thing since the tin opener!

  • Are you tired of returning home to Jessie’s destruction?
  • Do you feel guilty about leaving Max all alone during the day?
  • Are your neighbours complaining about Duke’s barking when you're at work?

Day Camp is what you and your dog need!

Boredom leads to destructive behaviours such as chewing, barking and digging, which we all know too well. Keeping a dog busy with play ensures that all that energy is released in a productive manner. But you have to work all day…

Well, imagine your dog spending the whole day either playing, taking a nap or just “hanging out” in a safe, clean and fun environment? Pure bliss for dog and complete stress relief for owners!

That’s what Day Camp can offer you!

No worrying about what Fido is destroying while you’re at work and – best of all – a very happy dog!

Is this a boarding kennel?
No - each dog has their own secure grassed camp complete with toys, jungle gym, chewies, digpit and wading pool. It's like an amusement park for dogs! Each camp is slightly different and dogs are rotated so that the camp does not become boring. Our staff also play games with the dogs such as soccer, tag and bubble catching if the dogs prefer these activities to playing with their buddies.

Do the dogs ever play together?
Yes, if the dog is sociable then there is supervised playtime. Some dogs don't enjoy canine company, but they still benefit tremendously from the stimulation of the Day Camp environment and activities.

Can any dog join Day Camp?
Pretty much! As long as the dog is not people aggressive, overly aggressive to other dogs, over the age of four months, not sound sensitive, not a fence jumper or digger, healthy and vaccinations (including kennel cough) are current.

My dog doesn't like other dogs. Can he still join Day Camp?
Yes! He does not have to interact with other dogs. He will still be kept busy and entertained within his own camp.

What are your hours and rates?
Hours are 07h00 - 18h00. Day Camp is offered at only R45/day! A once-off joining fee of R300 for large dogs and R200 for medium and small dogs applies. We also provide a delivery and collection service in Honeydew, Ruimsig & Radiokop at a nominal fee.

As dog lovers, we are dedicated to ensuring that your dog is well cared for and happy at all times.

Our staff is trained in canine behaviour, first aid and an accredited canine behaviourist oversees the Day Camp.
